YOU DETERMINE HOW PEOPLE SEE YOU
People have a right to their opinion of you, you have the power to shape their opinion of you.
There’s an old African Proverb that states that until the lion can read and talk every story will glorify the Hunter. If you don’t shape your own narrative who will? The story of how you want to be perceived by the market is your responsibility.
The person who controls what the market predominantly hears and reads controls the people and money. Why do you think rich people buy or invest in media companies?

This is the reason why when the rich give to a charity they broadcast it in the media because they want you to SEE them as kind, benevolent and compassionate.
How people see you and your brand affects what you get from them. If people see you as a premium brand you’ll get premium money from them and if they see you as a fash fashion brand like Zara, Primark, or M & S you’ll get fast fashion kind of money from them.
CONSISTENCY AND CONDITIONING
A teacher invited a few of his students to lunch on several occasions and each time they were all eating he played a particular song.
Later the teacher invited his ‘LUNCH EATING’ students and a new set of students to end-of-term lunch and before the lunch was served the song came up then he asked all of them ‘‘What does this song remind you of?” All of them said FOOD! Hahahaha
This is because the song conditioned them to associate it with food. The song triggers food in them
What do people associate your brand with? If you want your brand or business to be associated with something then you’ve got to consistently pair your brand with that thing
When you see P SQUARE they remind you of what?
When you see NIKE they remind you of what?
When you see ROLEX they remind you of what?
When do people see you what do you want to be TRIGGERED?
You cannot determine how people perceive you but you can shape, affect and influence it by what you CONSISTENTLY PUT OUT
So decide how you want to be perceived and start aligning your actions in that direction.
