Here are the things I learned this week from books, podcasts, conversations, and my coach:
1. Playing the long game: Harry Stebbings, founder of the 20VC podcast and venture capital company, emphasizes the importance of persistence and discipline. He recorded 250 podcast episodes before reaching his first 1,000 downloads. Remember, success may not come immediately, so it's crucial to play the long game. Today his podcast has 170 million downloads and his venture capital company which he founded as a result of the success of his podcast now has $175 Million AUM (Assets Under Management)
I have recorded 81 episodes in my podcast so i know the hard work involved to do 250 episodes when nobody is listening. This is why so very few people win because winners play the long game and losers play the short game.
Commit to playing the long game in what you do and you’ll build skill, character and wealth.
2. Affiliate marketing: Ali Abdaal, a prominent YouTuber with over 2 million subscribers, made $22 million in affiliate revenue last year. Affiliate marketing involves paying commissions to external websites for generating traffic or sales. Incorporating affiliate marketing into your business model can help you tap into networks and communities you wouldn't otherwise reach.
The reality is that there are communities, associations and networks that you cannot access without some people. This is why affiliate marketing is so important in business. Bake it into your business model.
I recently introduced the affiliate model into my paid WhatsApp group, and people are already making money. Here are some of them
I offer a recurring 20% affiliate commission. Here’s the link to join my whatsapp group sales factory community

Master the art of Cold DMs: In a bold move, I reached out to the head of marketing at a real estate company via Instagram, pitching a 3-month advertising opportunity on THE PAUL FOH PODCAST. After initiating contact on March 6, 2023, I swiftly presented my proposal and sealed the deal on August 18. The money is now in the bank, and soon, you'll be hearing their name on upcoming episodes of my podcast."
Normalize sending cold email, text, and calls to you want to do projects with. The worse they’ll tell you is NO.
Get a coach: I realised my coach makes in a month what i made last year. Hmmmm. May God bless you with people whose floor is your currently ceiling so you can push harder.
That’s all for now
