STOP ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS, START ASKING EMPOWERING QUESTIONS
The quality of your life is directly tied to the quality of questions you're asking yourself
Questions are to sales as breathing is to life, if you ask them wrongly you will die, if you ask them correctly the answer will be a sale.
Most entrepreneurs and salespeople start selling the moment they see a prospective customer on the phone or in person, that is so wrong. You’re selling to a person without enough information about their needs, wants, and problems.
This leads to you undercharging the client or losing the sale entirely because you misdiagnosed the client.
Have this happened to you before, you charged a client X only to discover that they can pay more and that the work is plenty!!
QUESTIONS LEAD TO DIRECTIONS
You will move in the direction to the answer to the questions or questions you ask yourself. Think about it, if you ask yourself ‘‘Where is my car keys?” All of a sudden you’ll start moving to the kitchen where the ANSWER is which in this case is your car keys.
So if you also ask ‘WHY AM I POOR’ Your mind will start moving you in all the direction of poverty, lack, and all the excuses why you don’t have money like: your dad is poor, you have a generational curse in your family, or you didn’t go to school
That’s the product of asking the WRONG OR DISEMPOWERING QUESTION
But if you had asked, ‘‘HOW CAN I MAKE MORE MONEY’’ Your mind will start going towards things that can deliver to you the answer.
This is because SPECIFIC QUESTIONS LEAD TO SPECIFIC OUTCOMES
WE LIVE IN A WORLD OF POLARITY
Polarity is the state of having two opposite directions. Here’s what I mean by this:
If there’s an IN there must be an OUT
If there’s a UP there must be a DOWN
If the tide comes IN the tide must go OUT
If there is a question THERE MUST BE AN ANSWER
Stop asking stupid and disempowering questions like ‘WHY ME’ You’re more than that.
SALES IS NOT TELLING, IT’S ASKING
Don’t go into a sales call or sales meeting with what to say, go in with what to ask. Go in there with probing and powerful questions to ask, and when clients talk they reveal their problems, and when they reveal their problems you can then use your product and service to match and solve those problems for a fee.
PRACTICE ANSWERING CLIENT QUESTIONS
Yesterday afternoon in my study, I told my wife to pretend to be a client and say to me
‘‘THIS PRODUCT IS TOO EXPENSIVE’’
Then I said to her
“ Ma is the price the only reason why you may not go ahead with this transaction”
