Distribution basically means traffic because without traffic, nobody will see your offer.
If you have a big audience and you know what you’re doing you can never be poor for the rest of your life.
People are housing your money, but for them to release the money to you they must see you or you make them see you.
If they don't see your offer, they won't make a purchase. Therefore, you need distribution.
Here are five ways through which you can distribute your products and services.
The first way is cold emails: Cold emails involve reaching out to people whose emails you don't know. This method has proven effective for many, and just because it hasn't worked for you doesn't mean it doesn't work.
According to a study by HubSpot, the average response rate for cold emails is 1%, while the average conversion rate is 15%.
Number two is your email list: This includes people who already know you and to whom you have been sending emails.Like this email you’re reading it is a distribution channel for my business.

The third way is paid advertisements: I have been saving every paid ad that I see repeatedly because there is something valuable there. Ads are expensive, so if you see an ad frequently, it is likely effective.
If you have money but you don’t have time to distribute your services then doing paid ads is great.
Number four is building your own audience: If you have an audience of 100,000 people, that is significant distribution. You can leverage that audience to sell anything. Building an audience takes patience, but it is worthwhile.
Think about it, CR7 of Cristiano Ronaldo currently leverages his audience of millions of people that follow him to sell his products, sell the products of companies of brands that give him endorsement like he his currently doing with WHOOP.
I have a relatively small audience but that is and has helped me live the life of my dreams.
Number five is when someone with a large audience promotes your product or service: You are leveraging someone else's audience.
Number six is renting someone else's audience: For example, if you sponsor my newsletter, which has 14,000+ readers, you are renting my audience, and it may lead to a sale. Similarly, if you sponsor my podcast, you are renting my audience, which can also lead to sales.
Let me give you a practical example of how I have used this. One time, I paid a brand influencer to promote my webinar on her platform. She has over 300,000 followers on Instagram. After she interviewed me live, I made back the money I paid her. I effectively rented her audience.
You can rent my audience as well. You can pay for ad space in my newsletter or on my podcast, or you can pay me to interview you on my Instagram, where I have 60,000 followers. This is a way to leverage distribution for your products and services.
If you know what you're doing, you can convert some of that traffic into your own audience, which you can monetize later or even instantly.
