I CRIED ON FATHER'S DAY MORNING AND HERE'S WHY

I never met my father. I have no experience of the love, warmth, and affirmation of a father. Now, am in my 40’s yet I still crave the experience of calling a father to share my highs and lows with.

So, yes today is fathers day I got up and my three sons and wife hugged me and wished me a very happy fathers day I felt the love and warmth. I did twenty push-ups and fifty dips with my three sons while my wife skipped with her skipping rope.

I went into the kitchen made coffee for myself and climbed upstairs to my study to nurse my cup of coffee and reflect overlooking a beautiful tree by my study window as the rain of this morning adorns it with its glory.

Then the Holy Spirit brought to my fore two men that played a fatherly role in my life, I immediately sent both cash to wish them happy fathers day and called both of them, as I was calling the tears defeated and resisted my ‘MANINESS’ and cascaded down my face I was relieved and I was grateful.

The first man picked me from the street of Port Harcourt when I was selling recharge card and gave me training to do for his company, the training was so good they retained me for 5 years. The money from that training sustained me and my family for years.

The man has retired now, but am still in touch with him.

I cried because I am a grateful man and i do not forget when a person is kind to me.

If you don’t have a biological father don’t worry, God is your father, and also think about the men that God has used to be a blessing to your life.
