What is a framework? A framework is akin to an ingredient or a recipe. If you take your mother's recipe for a particular soup from your village and travel to America with the same ingredients, the recipe will yield the same outcome. That is the advantage of a framework; once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
The PAS framework stands for Pain, Agitate, and Solution.
Pain: When selling a product, the reason for selling it is to remove pain from customers lives. For example, if you sell computers, you might ask, "Do you have a bad computer? Does your computer give you problems?" Fifty percent of small business owners in Nigeria or America report that their computers cause issues. They express distrust towards the vendors they purchase from, highlighting the problem or pain.
Agitate: Next, you want to agitate the problem and make it more significant. You might say, "Due to your bad computer, your system is slow. Customers are complaining, and you are losing them to your competition." This is the agitation of the problem or put differently you’re intensifying or amplifying the pain.
Kind of like adding salt to a cut in your hand!!!
Or like my brother did when we were small, putting his tongue in my eye after eating pepper soup! Hahahaha
Solution: But I have a solution for you: the computer company can resolve this issue this is when you introduce your solution to the problem in the form of your product or service.
