You are powerful.
You have the power to shape, distort, and make another person doubt their reality.
However, you also have the power to gateway a person to a more prosperous, empowering, and glorious reality.
Have you ever heard this before:
‘Are you sure’
"He or she is not like that’
‘I know you, you can’t do that
The above are examples of ‘GASLIGHTING’ A process of making people doubt their own reality because of the influence you have over them based on the relationship you have with them.
People use gaslighting to abuse and manipulate others in relationships, especially if the gaslighter provides: money, sex, and emotional support in the relationship.
SOCIAL GASLIGHTING
Even when the GASLIGHTED recognize the game and want to break free their social contracts like mum, friends, and siblings go like: “ Don’t forget what they have done for us oh”
The social pressure supports the abuse because as humans when a lot of people support a thing it gives it social proof in our heads.
USING GASLIGHTING IN SALES
If gaslighting makes a person doubt their reality, that means that if a client is living in the reality of a bad, cheap, and dysfunctional car, your job as a salesperson is to use powerful questioning tools so that the person can start doubting their reality and in the process pull the buying trigger!
Sales and marketing are mostly psychological in other words, if you can help a person or positively gaslight your clients they’ll see a new reality that only your product or service can help them achieve.
