Guarantees: I know that you bought that Fridge, Washing machine, Car, etc because of the one or two-year guarantee they gave to you. Guarantee is a powerful way to instil belief and trust in your product or service. Can you guarantee same-day delivery of your product? Can you guarantee free installation?
Pay On Delivery: This was a winning strategy for UBER in Nigeria when they launched in 2014 and off the back of that success other e-commerce companies like Jumia, Konga and co have adapted that ‘proof’ strategy. I bought a piece of furniture on Instagram from a furniture maker, and when the vendor sensed my hesitancy he told me ” Paul don’t worry pay me when I deliver your item” Boom! I was sold
