7 Remarkable Laws Of Marketing - Ignore Them To To Peril
1. The purpose of your advert is not a demonstration of your intellect or creativity, it is to make sales
Long sales copy converts to sales more than short copy. I have a one-year-old ad for a $3 product that has done over $6,000 dollars in sales and the ad copy is very long. My last sales cohort had 107 paid participants and the sales copy I used was very long. Stop writing short information about what you sell. THE MORE YOU TELL THE MORE YOU SELL. I taught members of my Whatsapp group this trick. Still, in doubt Addie Fabrics a member of my WhatsApp group has done N100,000,000 from the ad that she wrote in 2019. You can join my WhatsApp group for N10,000/ 3months here Whatsapp group. Long sales ad copy is better than short sales copy because it helps you answer the customer’s objections as they’re reading your advert. Has this ever happened to you before, you’re reading stuff about a product and you’re self-talking yourself like “Dem go give free delivery?” And Boom!! like mindreaders they mention FREE DELIVERY. That’s an example of answering objections.
Don’t change your ads if they are producing sales. In the words of the most remarkable advertising man David Ogilvy “ You are not advertising to a standing army, you’re advertising to a moving parade” You change your advert because you believe that everybody has seen it, that’s not entirely correct. It takes multiple exposures to your advert before customers make a buying decision.
Copy and learn from the best of the best: “ I have never made the slightest effort to compose anything original” Mozart. If you buy a product because of its marketing, advertising or salesmanship think about how to creatively use the funnel, ad, or words in your own business. I just moved my podcast {THE PAUL FOH PODCAST THE PAUL FOH PODCAST hosting from Anchor to Buzzprout, on Anchor hosting my podcast is FREE but on Buzzprout I pay $12 monthly FOR hosting plus the features are better. You may be wondering why, here’s the reason. Buzzprout was recommended to me by one of the biggest podcasters in the world and i used his affiliate link {Which means he made money off the back of my patronage} Wow, immediately copied the principle and today i pay N2,000 to anyone who refers friends to my Whatsapp group
Good marketing produces good leads. I got some leads from my London sales class, called a few of them and closed some as coaching clients. Generate leads through good marketing. Tell your Facebook ad person that one of your metrics of success is qualified leads that you can follow up with calls
Research your clients. Get nosy about their pains, hurts, shame, hurt, hopes and dreams. You ‘legitimize’ your marketing by speaking to the needs, fears and hopes discovered through research
Study direct response
