5 Unbelievable Ways To Get Attention For Your Business
Attention is the currency of 2024, the more attention you have the more influence you can wield and the more influence you have the more buying decisions your can sway in your favor.
The attention span of the average human being is 8 seconds according experts this is due to the internet, smart phones and notifications. If someone gives you their attention by reading your email {Thank you for reading my emails and God bless you} , watching your video or listening to you that’s a gift and an asset.
Attention + Value + Consistency + Call To Action = Income or Impact
That’s my formula, I designed it and I live by it. Let’s break it down.
Attention:
The word "attention" has its origins in Latin. It comes from the Latin word "attentio," which means "the act of attending or heeding." The term "attendere" in Latin combines "ad," meaning "to," and "tendere," meaning "stretch" or "direct." Therefore, the literal sense of attention in its etymology involves "stretching to" or "directing toward." So basically attention means directing the focus of people to you or what you’re doing. What you wear can get attention, your point of view can get attention, what you demonstrate for example dance or acting can get attention. You must get attention before they consider you.
What catches people’s attention?
Value:
The word value means the importance or usefulness of something to you. Your car is valuable to you because of its demonstrated usefulness to you by carrying you from your house to your office in comfort and ease. If you direct people’s attention to something that can : entertain them or improve the quality of their lives you’ll sustain the attention.
If you make them laugh you have their attention, if you teach them a skill you have their attention, if you inspire them you have their attention.
Value {Pt 2} Transform the value into a tangible version or digital asset. Big skit makers and influencers have turned the attention you give them into money by selling online courses, live shows, or brand endorsements. They pay them thousands of dollars because brands believe that their 1 million followers ie attention can be transformed into sales.
This is because at a point the audience will want more from the attention.

Human focus is ‘jumpy’ To cement your attention in the heart of people you must show up consistently. This is because you’re not the only one trying to buy their ‘Attentional real estate’ You should create content for your business consistently in 2024 and not once in a while.
Call To Action:
People like to be told what to do specifically. Tell them to buy, subscribe, call, share. If you don’t ask you won’t get.
