In the last year, I have read 20 books on sales and marketing. Fortunately for me most of them were phenomenal, but here are my top 5
Book #1 Atomic Habit- James Clear. Every Youtuber and podcaster I respect and follow has directly or indirectly recommended this book to me
The reason why this book is excellent is that it gives you a practical, actionable and easy way to form any habit. If sales and marketing is a habit you want to form then I suggest that you read this book. One of my key takeaways from this book is designing your physical environment to support your new habit and discourage your destructive habits. I have written almost 100 articles of THE FOH LETTERS from a specific chair in my studio at home. When I sit on that chair my brain knows, it’s time to write.
Book #2 The Robert Collier Letter Book- Robert Collier. This is popularly called the copywriting bible, it was published in 1931. Here’s why I like the book, it directs you to uncover the conversation that is taking place in the head of your customer before selling him or her anything because people are only interested in their needs.
Book #3 Magnetic Marketing- Dan S. Kennedy. Wow, I love Dan Kennedy he is direct and unapologetic in the way he communicates. Here’s why I like the book, it teaches that you should make your clients raise up their hands before you sell them anything by giving them a lead magnet, that you should magnetize them and not chase them. This book exalts the power of marketing.

Book #4 Scientific Advertising- Claude Hopkins. “This book must be read 7 times if you want to persuade and sell in the modern age” This was what the founder of OGILVY (The largest advertising company in the world) David Ogilvy said.
Book #5 The Perfect Day to Boss up: A Hustler’s Guide To Building Wealth- Rick Ross. Rick is a lyrical genius. He is super wealthy and wise. One thing I like about this book is when he said “ The dangerous thing about our excuses is that a lot of them make sense” This book is so good that my 4 Whatsapp groups will review it on the 15 of June.
